Last Bundesliga Game of the Season - Bayern Munich vs Vfl Wolfsburg Preview and Predictions

PREVIEW

A lot has happened in the past week with this club. Having secured the Bundesliga Meisterschale, Bayern confirmed that Tanguy Kouassi would be joining the club, Robert Lewandowski was named Bundesliga Player of the Season, Alphonso Davies was named Bundesliga Rookie of the Year, reports stated various clubs have been linked with players like David Alaba, Thiago Alcântara, etc. But the club has made it clear that this weekend everyone is focused on closing the Bundesliga season on a high note.

Their last game of the league comes against none other than Vfl Wolfsburg, who are currently in 6th place tied with 7th placed Hoffenheim on points. Anything other than a win could see them miss European football for the next season. Wolfsburg's last 5 games have ended with 2 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw; not the most consistent of performances. Whereas Bayern Munich on the other hand, are currently on a 15 game win-streak; with the last match-up between the two sides ending 2-0 to Die Roten.

PREDICTIONS

With Davies back from suspension we can expect him to make the starting lineup this time around. Despite having last game's lineup horrendously wrong; I still expect Hansi Flick to sport a relatively strong side for the game. We could see Alvaro Odriozola start in place of Benjamin Pavard; the Spanish international has started just 2 games for the record champions since he joined them on loan from Real Madrid.
Other changes to expect could be Ivan Perišić and Serge Gnabry coming back to the starting lineup. But hold me to this considering how off my last lineup prediction went; Flick could opt on giving some players much needed playing time.

As for my 3 predictions for the match, I am now 2/6 for the predictions... But hey at least I predicted score correctly... *sigh*
Well here we go again:
1. Robert Lewandowski will add yet another goal to his record breaking season.
2. Manuel Neuer will fail to keep a clean sheet but will put in a good performance nonetheless.
3. There will be a goal in the first 20 minutes.

As for the score, I predict a 2-1 win to the Bundesliga champions.
Let me know who you have winning and by what score in the comments and feel free to leave any feedback!
